Shah Rukh Khan was in for a happy surprise when a video of US Navy band sings ‘Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera’ from the movie ‘Swades’ went viral on the internet. Expressing delight, SRK reacted to the viral video and wrote, “Thank u for sharing this sir. How lovely. Git all nostalgic about the time spent making this beautiful film and belief sung in the song. Thanx @AshGowariker @RonnieScrewvala @arrahman & everyone who made it possible.” The act in question was part of a performance for the US Chief of Naval Operations and Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the Ambassador of India to the United States.

AR Rahman, who composed the music for this popular song, also seemed touched by the act. Tagging director Ashutosh Gowariker and lyricist Javed Akhtar, Rahman wrote on Twitter, “Swades rules for ever”. ‘Swades’ hit the screens in December 2004 and was received a lot of critical acclaim.
Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen on the big screen in 2018, is gearing up to entertain his fans in a big way. The actor has signed up for action drama ‘Pathan’, which is being directed by Siddharth Anand. The promising entertainer features Deepika Padukone as the leading lady while John Abraham is rumoured to essay the baddie. ‘Pathan’ will also feature a cameo by Salman Khan.
