Despite hailing from a film family, Bobby Deol has had his share of struggles. Today, he has successfully created a separate identity for himself in the industry, breaking free from the influence of his superstar father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol.
His struggle, however, started much earlier, from the time when he was a kid. Spilling some beans on the same, Bobby had once told in an interview with a news portal that when he was younger, he had to struggle with his rather thin voice. The actor also revealed that owing to this, many would mistake him for a woman over the phone and call him ‘behenji’. Bobby added that he used to get irritated initially.
Elaborating further, he went on to say that he also had fun with it. In hotels, the actor revealed that he used to call up people randomly, or if someone called, he would just talk as if he was a lady, just to have some fun.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bobby will next be seen in the second instalment of ‘Apne’ where he will be reuniting with his father and brother. Directed by Anil Sharma, the movie will also star Sunny’s son Karan Deol, bringing all three generations of Deols together for the first time.
