It seems that after iPad Air 4, the next product category in which Apple may introduce a range of colour options is going to be iMac, the desktop computers from the Cupertino-based tech giant.
According to Jon Prosser — the YouTuber who has been often correct when it comes to giving tips about what Apple is working on — the company is going to use the same colours as the fourth-generation iPad Air from last year for its next iMac models.
If this happens to be the case, we could have the new 2021 iMac models in space gray, silver, rose gold, green, and sky blue colour options.
As per Prosser, this move to introduce colour options in the iMac models will strike the chord with those who loved the original iMac models that were available in colours like lime, strawberry, blueberry, grape, and tangerine back in the 90s.
Last month, a report by Bloomberg had suggested that the 2021 iMac models may come with smaller bezels and sport a design similar to the Pro Display XDR.
The report had also claimed that the upcoming iMac will offer a flat back and move away from the curved back panels as we have seen.
“The iMac redesign will be one of the biggest visual updates to any Apple product this year,” the report has stated.
